Happy New Year to you and yours from all of us at the Inn on Fall River. As I reflect on the past year, I have fond memories of many guests who have crossed our path this past year. We have guests who come visit us a couple times a year to get away from it all, some who come every year and gather with family and friends and then others who visited Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park for the first time and chose to stay at the Inn on Fall River—we are very blessed to have such great guests. We have had a number of other visitors; just yesterday the Big Horn sheep were on the property—they were across the river. I have seen them up on our road, but not on the backside of our property. Other visitors we have had on property this past year include “Rocky” the flying squirrel in suite 15B, our wonderful bear who just munched on berries for an afternoon, elk, deer, raccoons, fox, coyotes and of course the chipmunks. Many birds visit us, too! Big and small—the hummingbirds fill our summer with their lovely whirl, song birds and wild turkeys also find their way to the Inn on Fall River.
2010 was a year for changes at the Inn as well, we got a new roof on our lodge building and we thank the crew that came and worked many hours to finish this big job—we have been freshening the look in many rooms and we will continue to do this in 2011. We want you to come and visit us at the Inn on Fall River, relax and enjoy yourself in 2011. Give us a call and make your reservations now—see you soon!
