Mark and I were able to get away from the Inn on Fall River for the day and look what we were able to enjoy...We took a hike to Bridal Veil Falls in Rocky Mountain National Park. We had heard it was a very nice hike with a 'treasure' at the end. What we had been told was the absolute truth. We had a gorgeous day to adventure into the beauty around us...sunny with bright blue skies and a nice breeze to keep us from getting too hot. We enjoyed the quietness of this trail. Although we met a few fellow hikers on the trail, we were able to sit at the falls and catch our breath without interruption. We witnessed ice formations on our way to the falls and when we arrived at the destination there was snow lying around.
We were able to enjoy a bit of foliage and decided that if we had hiked about 10 days or two weeks earlier, the foliage would have been amazing. We were met by a few deer on the trail on our descent. Not sure who was more intrigued; us or the deer! This is a hike that can be accessed year round. I look forward to seeing it in a different season. As you are preparing for your stay at the Inn on Fall River, we would be more than happy to help you plan your 'Must See' list. Give us a call!
